Joetta's Story

Ok I have loved NKOTB since I was 9 and introduced to them from a family friend who is like a sister to me. I watched Hangin Tough Live and was in love, if that is possible for a 9 year old. I locked eyes on Jordan and I was hooked. I have love that man for 20 years now and all I can say is the dimples and the smile. I had to have everything that had NK on it. I didn't get everything but I got enough to satisify my tween (was that a word back then) dreams. I had posters, magazines, pins, and I had the Jordan dolls. I loved them. I even got to go to a concert when they came to Tulsa with the Magic Summer Tour. My friend's dad waited in line all night to get us tickets we were so excited. Then they decided to go their seperate ways, I was crushed. Now who was I supposed to listen to, now was the time of grunge rock and I loved pop. What was a pop girl to do?

Fast forward a few years and I'm still following their careers as much as possible. Thank god for internet. There is a new trend in music and it is going back to pop and a whole new crop of "boy bands" emerge. I admit I followed their music but it was never the same as NK. Then Jordan and Joe release solo albums. YEAH! I then started to sorta stalk Jordan whenever he came near Oklahoma, I went to St. Louis to see him open for *NSYNC, I saw him in Columbia, MO solo and got to meet him and got my pic taken with him but what did I do stood there like a statue. UGH! Then he came to Tulsa I went was broke so didn't get to do the M&G and was crushed. In my hometown and I didn't get to meet him. Then I went to Dallas to see him again and got to do the M&G, again nothing. And man can that man keep a secret....Donnie and him and everybody was already talking and never let on to it.

Fast forward again to April and announcement. Can I say I felt like I was 10 again. I had to get my hands on everything again that had them in it. I signed up on the boards and met some amazing women and felt "normal" somebody else felt the same as I did about these 5 men. I got to go to 2 shows on the fall tour. I went to Dallas didn't do the M&G and then to KC where I did do the M&G. I now am patiently waiting for March for the Tulsa show now.

I would be very patiently waiting but all because of DonnieffinWahlberg I'm going BSC!

So from the TX-OMA run this tour....Can it Donnie and stop making us all go crazy!
