Know what's still exciting?

I still get giddy every time I think of my tweet from Joe Mac!



Here's a recap for those who may be joining this program already in progress:



On Thursday afternoon I saw that Joe was tweeting from the web, decided, WTH and posted an @ reply tweet to him.



@joeymcintyre On the off chance that you might read this...look at my profile pic. That's the JoeMac doll circa 1990 in my shirt!



I moved on to doing some things around the house when suddenly my phone beeped about a minute later, alerting me that I had a text. Imagine my surprise when I open this text message and see that it's a tweet from Joe.



Kellipeanut...nice profile pic :) lol



I run to my computer and refresh twitter, just in case I was hallucinating. But there it is on my computer screen, right before my very eyes. Not only did Joe read my tweet. Not only did he look at my profile pic. He responded! And based on his tweet, he did not seem to be fearful of or confused by the fact that I had a Joe Mac doll in my shirt, he actually seemed amused.



Happy dance around the house and shreiking phone call to Jenni followed. My number of twitter followers jumped from 34 to its current state of 152 and for a brief 15 minute period, I, was a tweetebrity. Thank you to my pals for all of the "eek"s and words of congratulations!



So, that's how it happened. And now May 28th will go down in history as Mactweet Day!
